Tracking Cookies.. How do I stop them in Firefox?

Today I decided to run Spybot S&D since I had not ran it in awhile. I had 44 tracking cookies that needed to be deleted. I did a quick search of the firefox add-ons and nothing really caught my eye for blocking tracking cookies. What are you using to block tracking cookies? Maybe I just need to clear my cookies more often.
